CLINIC AGREEMENT

On January 1, 2019 a three-way agreement took effect to improve the operation of the Operation Starfish clinic in Good Shepherd Village – Klinik Zetwal Lanme. Food For The Poor, Seeds of Hope for Haiti, and Medicines for Humanity have joined to provide staffing supplies and medical direction for this clinic which serves a rural population in the mountains near Dalon. The clinic is located at Good Shepherd Village, which was developed as the 10th Nativity Village and dedicated to Fr. Richard Martin, who founded Operation Starfish. Seeds of Hope for Haiti is based in Connecticut and its mission is focused on healthcare and education in the Grand Boulage area of Haiti.

Medicines For Humanity is based in Massachusetts and provides health services to over one million people in 13 countries. Food For The Poor  is a large international charity, based in Florida and working in 17 counties in the Caribbean and Latin America. Operation Starfish is a trademarked program of Food For The Poor and Nativity Catholic Church has partnered with Food for The Poor since 1998.
